My day at the MVA
2003-06-05

Yesterday was a very good day, despite the sickness. I've decided the twins are germ mongers.

I lost 1.2 pounds, go me! Then I headed to the library and printed out the stuff I needed to print. Next I headed home and called Allie. She came over and :O got in a car accident on the way over. Actually right at the corner of my street. Poor Allie, her car is just a mess.

We headed out to the MVA to get my drivers license and so she could pick up title and registration info for her boy. ALWAYS bring a friend to the MVA. While I stood in one line, she stood in the picture line for me. I was flirting with the guy in front of me and killing time. He was all jealous when I skipped up ahead in the picture line. He was actually still waiting in line when I was walking out with my license. The MVA sucks big time.

We headed over to the other part of the MVA to get her boy's title stuff. While we were there, I asked about mine, and ended up actually getting it at that time. YAY now all I have to do is put my tags on my car.

After that we were starving. It was almost 3 o'clock. We headed to Friday's. The lunch was only ok. The drinks were REALLY good though. I had an ultimate June Bug, she had an ultimate mudslide. YUM. I'm thinking about getting a mudslide next time.

Gotta go, twins are beckoning.
